I recently got a 250r from someone which is obviously too rich. I took the nut off the bottom of the carb and where the main jet should be there's a small jet in an adapter. I'm assuming this is that Dynojet setup. Anyway, I'm wanting to ditch that and stick a Keihin jet in it. My question is does a 165 Dynojet jet equal a 165 Keihin jet?

no...they don't match.

Do you know about what jet size would be close to the Dynojet 165?

you may have to call them and beg for a comparison. Put it this way....I have a 416ex that ran a keihen 158 with the perfect jetting, then later installed a dyno 142 with their needle and stock pilot...which was the perfect air/fuel ratio. If you use the math, looks like you'll be using a whopper mj. It don't add up. If you list your mods, these guys will help you on here and get you close. I'm having my own 250r jetting probs...its alot of trial and error to get it perfect.
