Hot Start

Are hot starts possible to put on 400ex's? i Dont really know why im asking i was just curious

it takes a special carb to have hot start. the 400 carb has no provision for such a thing, nor does it need it since its electric start and starts great if its tuned properly.

hot starts are generally only found on big four stroke kickers, but can be used on an electric start bike.

many peeps are putting the 450r carb on their hopped-up 400's, but i don't know what they do with the hot start. i would probably plug it, unless it had starting issues.

yeah i didnt think so , i just asked because my buddy said something about it and i wanted to see if it was event possible lol

becasue my other frined has a trx450 ad it has a hotstart on it
