Never had mine dynoed, but I was running a 426 with a JE 13:1 on 110 leaded race fuel, ported head, GT Thunder Cam, Lightweight flywheel, GT Thunder H-Beam rod, Crank trued and hardwelded, and I was running an FCR39mm carb. All I know is it pulled hard through every gear. I ran out of gear waay before I ran out of power. I was running on 18 inch wheels though with 14/36 gearing I believe. I know against a pipe raptor I pulled ever gear and kept pulling on top end never even came close to catching up and I ran out of gear... Wish I didnt sell that beast. oh what fun!!

Hey, I just built my wifes 426 this last week.
it has a 12.5-1 je piston
webb cam .345/lift 256 duration at.050
( it think its like a stage 2 )
hardened rockers, heavier valve springs
larger diameter head studs
valves are one size bigger on the intake and exhaust
full port and polish three angle valve job
450 r carb jetted with a 190 main
pro curcuit stainless header and t-4 muffler
and a rev box.

last friday we took it into N Motion in wichita ks
they got it up to 38h.p. and the stock clutches blew
i had them replace them with barnetts and the bike
picked up one more horse( 39 ) I was kinda dis-satisfied
with the build i was at least trying to break 40. but after i
talked to these on the dyno this was the most horsepower
that they had got out of a 400.

I do say one thing the bike is definately not as fast as a piped
out yfz but at least i can say that i have one fastest 400's.

Got a graph of that? How about some details of the build? Frankly, 46hp is hard to believe for a 426. Really, ANY EX that is over 45hp would be a rare animal indeed.
