Is it hard to adjust the valves?

Is it hard to adjust the valves on a 2004 450r? i had a 416ex and that thing was simple to do it. I am wondering what all has to be done to adjust them.Also how hard is it to change the main jet and stuff in the carb? i need to rejet. thanks in advance!

the 450r uses selective shims (different sizes) atop the valve stems. in order to change the adjustment, the appropriate size shim must be purchased and used. kits are available that come with a large assortment of shims. you can go to servicehonda.com and look at pics of this setup. or i'm sure there are many pics and more info available on this site and others.
