Well my 300ex is still running lean with a 128DJ main jet. (140 Keihin Style.)

The thing is, the plug looks the same as the other plug did with a 124DJ main jet. So now Im thinking it might be the needle.

How does the needle work, does the farther down the clip the richer???

Come on guys help me out.

you sure its not just lean at idle?how does it pull at wfo?unless you have a bog in the midrange while gettin up to speed,i wouldnt think it would be your needle.

im thinking that it could be a lean pilot... The threads on my spark plug even changed colors like head pipe do from the heat. I think I will pull the needle up some and try it there. And it pulls great at WFO.
