A snorkel on a 400ex:eek2:. you have to fine tune it more then likely for the best performance

living in nj the stock main should be a 148 in a 400ex. Thats what was in my bike. 145 would be too lean imo.

Well guys since his profile says 06 DVX, Im going to go out on a limb and guess he doesn't have a 400ex. In that case what jets are they even recommending? They are all different sizes among the different manufacturers (kehein, Dynojet, mikuni). From what I've seen HMF suggested jetting is WAAAAAAAAY too rich. We need more info please.

haha yea i do not have a 400ex,i used to have one when i registered for this site then i sold it and i didn not want to make a new name if i allready had one, anyway i would like to just order a jet right from my dealer im assuming its goin to be a mikuni, when i talked to them i told them that im gettin a sport series slip on,and that i allready had a K&n filter but i would like to leavemy lid on casue i ride in alot of dusty places,so with that said they told me that i needed a 145 main and 2 1/2 turns on the air fuel mixture screw and to take off my snorkel,i hope this helps,so you think that im goin to need a bigger jet? if you have anymore questions or if you dont understand just ask me and ill try to answer them the best i can, thanks for the help though:)
