Question about Iron-On's

I recently bought a set of Custom Eagle hockey gloves that are completely black and have a nylon shell. They are a little too plain for my likings and I'd like to put a few iron on logos on the cuff to spruce them up a little.

Would iron on logos work on nylon material?

And how would it hold up?
