104 octane booster

I just put in a 13.1:1 piston and i also have a stage 2 hotcam and i was wondering if using the 104 octane booster is ok for just my first tank of gas. I dont have any 110 octane gas and want to brake in my piston this weekend and i used pump gas and added this stuff called 104 octane booster. It says it will mix up to 20 gallons of pump gas and make it 104 octane. So i got a 5 gallon jug of 93 and put in 1/4 of the octane booster, is this ok to run or should i just wait and get 110 octane?

well since you already got the booster and the gas, and mixed it already. I would say run it, and then when you are through with that and there is no problem you can either stick with it or try what other people say to try on here. I myself have a 14:1 ported and polished head with oversized valves and CRF 450 cam and right now im running my first tank of gas with 111 octane race gas from a pump at a local gas station, but I will switch to
"VP C-12" gas as soon as I can, but thats just me. There might be someone on here that will tell you to run desiel fuel you never know. All I know is that I dont want to half a** something that would affect my brand new motor that I paid big bucks for, so if I have to pay a little extra to make sure that im running the proper fuel I would. Also try and get a sponsorship from someone like VP or Klotz or somebody like that it really saves you some money when you are going to be running some expensive gas like that. "Just my 2 cents though."

Ya i just want to run it for the weekend until i can get some 110 then i will either run straight 110 or 50/50 mix of 110 and 93. Which would be better the mix or straight 110?

I will try both mix 50/50 with the C-12 and 92 and run straight C-12 and if it runs the same or better with one type of gas ill go with that.

i ran klotz octane booster for awhile and it ran fine. and plus u already mixed the gas.

rule of thumb........if it comes in a plastic bottle its not going to do anything good.
