alchy?

if i ran alchy in my 400ex would i notice the power diference and take off ect.. and i would have to change jetting and stuff right? also my engine has some mods and i need to replace stuff so figured i try it while the rings are starting to go rather then with new ones. also how much and where to get it?

You can't do it. You need a alky carb. You could maybe mix a 1/2 gallon or a gallon to 5 or 6 gallons of pump gas, and thats if you have a high compression piston. My grandpa has to run pure methenol alchohol in his 800HP late model dirt car.

You CAN do it. On my 400 with a stock carb, it was jetted perfect with the main jet removed. It's a pain to keep it maintained though. You have to drain all fuel after every ride and change the oil real often.

I'd suggest try running it 50/50 should run fine, might have to change jetting, but I doubt it.
