I went with a 416, theres alot of opinions on this but the reasoning i had is it will run cooler, rev faster and you still have room to bore the stock sleeve if you want to later. when i did mine i went with a high comp piston, hotcam and it made a huge difference, with the mods listed in my sig I can do 5th gear wheelies sitting down:D

Personally i like teh 426 the best, but jsmith2232 has a great point. if i did mine again i would do a 416 just so i could go up to the 426 later on the same sleeve.

thats is what i've been leaning more toward... a wiseco 87mm piston 11:1, hotcams stage2 and porting a polish from BooneATV... I am also hoping to find a Sparks X6 pipe soon to have with the motor work

could you run pump gas on the 11:1 compression. I am thinking about going with the 416 11:1 but want to be able to run pump gas.
Thanks

yeah you should be able to run pump gas as long as you run premium

If you don't have a cam I would suggest doing this at the same time, you will probably regret it later if you don't. I ordered my Je 10.8:1 piston, comet flexsteel topend gasket kit, and hotcam all from C&D racing for 310$ and had it in 3 days. Mine runs fine on pump 93 octane but I run 110 in it when ever I can. (It smells soo good)

Hey jsmith... just looking for a price range... how much did it cost for you to get to all installed... (unless you did it by yourself...)

I paid a buddy of mine to teach me how but he did most of the hands on stuff and it ran me 100$ but the local honda dealer quoted me around 250$ to do it, I would reccomend finding someone who knows how to do it and watch them, it definetely was worth watching though, I feel pretty confident that i could do it myself the next time theres not as much to it as I thought.
