Check your compression. If the motor won't lift the front wheels off the ground, it doesn't seem like it's making as much power as it should, and might be time for a rebuild.

If you can't get your willie up then its time to find a new girlfriend.

starting the engine seems to help, my sons and I sit in the garage and pull, and pull on the bars. All I get is a bunch of spit all over the bar pad.

The wife loves it, here are "her guys" on thier quads, in the garage, spitting and laughing, "doin' woolies" :D

how are you tires? if you have any tread at all you should have no trouble doing wheelies. when my r was stock with pipe and filter i could wheelie in 4th all day long.

so my guess is you either need new tires, or need to learn how to ride a wheelie on an R

takes a little time to learn how to ride a wheelie. where do you ride? is your swinger stock length?

You cant just rev the heck out of it and dump the clutch it'll just spin and take off fast. You gotta get the revs up and let the clutch slowly at first and when you feel it hook up give it some more gas and let the clutch out. If your a wheely beginner try cruising in second then lean back and nail the throttle. It is good practice.

my 400ex will weelie in a sec. must be the driver. you not giving enough gas when your dumping the clutch. that 450r has more power than a 400, it should rise rather quickly

15/34 is WAYY too high. Try like 14/38, you will be fine, I run that with 18's. I don't know whats wrong, I haven't tryed it yet because I dont have enough road, but I guarentee I can pull mine up in 6th and keep it there.
