Hey, Iam thinking about buying skid playes, mainly just for the engine. I have heard some dont fit well, what are ones that bolt on easy and are a farily around 100 dollars?

I was thinking about making them, I dont have a metal bender, so I was thinking about like a thin flexible plastic, or some common tools from pepboys. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make them?

thanks.

PRM makes some of the best skids and bumpers around. However my buddy and I both have armadillo full chassis skids and haven't had a single problem with them. We run XC and they have held up to whatever we have thrown at them. They mount easy, hold up great and fit perfect, plus they aren't as expensive as some of the other brands.

bang for the buck is armadillo. cheaper price and they're 1/4" thick instead of 1/8" like most.ran mine one full season with no problems as of yet (knock on wood)

Pro armor is the best IMO fit perfect and they are about the same price as everybody else.

i would stay away from any thing less than .250 for the swinger..the engine is not as necessary to be that thick...if you want plastic, might as well just run the junk stock piece, but i would not run plastic for trails
