View Full Version : Need some help with a 250R's jetting

heard from a few members on this board this is the place to go for jetting questions anyway here we go

this thing down right stinks down low and i have no idea why
after i get into about 4th gear she'll take off

its a 60 pilot jet

and a 182 main

compression is like 260PSI

trinity cylinder

i run 32:1
with 110 race run and klotz

and how far out should my air fuel mixture be?

can anyone help me?

i had a friend of mine try to help me but i think he messed it up worse than it was adjusting my air fuel screw and all that good **** so i've gotta start all over

elevation is about 880ft

the best way to do it is just by trial and error, try going one way with the settings and decide wether it is better or worse and take it form their. it is difficult for someone to give you a good estimate on your jetting because you probably live at a different elevation and in a different climate than they do. if you need more help check out jetting to thread in the site's new how to section
