motion pro twist throttle

will the motion pro twist throttle kit fit from an 04 to an 06,i have the turbo throttle and isnt there a wire you have to mess with on the 06.any one running the twist on an 06 honda 450er

I put their CR style twist throttle from my '05 and put it on my '06. It actually fit my '06 better than my '05. I found that the when it was on my '05 it has too much extra slack. When I put it on my '06 it fit perfect. With the exception of the fact that I had to turn out the adjuster at the carb end of the cable almost to the end of it's threads. But it works fine. I would think that they make the cables the same length whether you get a CR or Turbo. Hope that helps.

i've got the cr pro installed and it went on fine. you will have to cut the wire and twist the 2 together to close the circuit of that throttle control. i wasnt' thrilled about doing that and actually think i may put the stock thumb back on now!

ok so it the twist fits the 06,will the 06 thumb throttle fit the 04 so i can sell it,just want to make sure before i take it apart
