I have an 87 250r, 88 oem plastic,
paul turner pipe/fatboy silencer
nerfs
20 over wiseco (first bore)
new clutch w/ 89 kit (better design)
answer alumilite handlebars
frame is stock, no welds or cracks
stock skid plates,grab bar,bumper etc.
still has toolbox w/ tools (some extra ones in there)
also has the original key and bar mounted ignition
paddle tires, clymer manual, extra answer pipe/silencer
(it has dent so I got the turner pipe)
I have the original 87 plastic but the rears are not good,
fronts where race cut before I bought it, stock flat hood
seat has no rips or tears the motor has original paint
(some rub marks from boots) this thing starts up easy and runs great, the tires are 75% rears and 50% front
traction is its only problem.
I bought a 450r and my wife is scared to death of this one so im going to sell it and get her a newer 250ex. I dont want to rip anyone but I dont. want to give it away either. if anyone can give me some ball park numbers to start with I will appriciate it alot
thank you. here is a pic. if it helps

You've got the best of both worlds right there. Too bad you're so far away.

Would you sell me your 88 fenders please?

It's hard to tell from a picture but it looks pretty decent shape. So you are realistically looking at no less than $2500 and tops if someone really wants it, $3200. If you put white fenders and the original headlight back on, you have the original seat which is kinda rare, in fact the 87's are the rarest to find original. You could probably get $3500-$3800 with time and egay.
