Anybody put a kill switch on an 06 YFZ? I have one and cant figure it out. I have seen the post on Central, and on Tech. Still cant figure it out.

Don't do it. Get a Pingle or a normally closed teather switch. Sooner or later everybody that I know has had electrical problems that were traced back to grounding the circut.

Are you talking about people cooking their CDI's. I have heard about that but I havent really understood how it happens.

cdi's, Stators, rectifiers, coils etc. With the YFZ you are dealing with an ac/dc system. The factory has designed this system using a "normaly closed" kill switch. Kind of like your car. To shut off the engine, the main circut is interrupted, cutting spark to the motor.
Take a screwdriver and hold it across the pos. and neg. on your car, and see what happens....... (please don't really do that).
But that is what you are doing to your YFZ with the pro-design kill switch.
Grounding the circut to kill the engine only works with a magneto style ignition.
And I know hundreds of people will chime in and say they have used the pro-design style on their YFZ without problems.

the pro design works fine with the baldwin kit.
