As long as you don't use a carwash pressure washer your fine.

I wouldn't use a pressure washer around the bearing areas or around decals or any other kind of seal. The pressure will blow everything into were it shouldn't be!

Pressure washing is fine as long as you don't point the nozzle directly into where bearings and seals are such as wheel bearings, aarm bushings, swingarm, ect. Use it cautiously and it will work great. Also spray your motor off with plain water, then spray simple green on it, let it sit, take a small soft brush to the motor and spray it off. You should get a good result from doing that.

I go on quads for like 8 years already and I always pressurewashed them. Never encountered any problems. I apply WD 40 to all bearings though after each wash

Go to a parts store and get engine degreaser. You CAN use a pressure washer if youd like, like at a carwash. Our local carwash has low pressure and then when u pull the trigger it goes to high. The low pressure is perfect for this stuff. First make sure the engine is always cool. Spray the engine to get light dust and grime off. Apply engine degreaser liberally, dont be stingy with it, and let it set. At this time I usually go around and wash whatever else I can, and come back. Use the light pressure to clean off the engine once again. The degreaser will cut the grime and dirt and ull have a clean engine. You may have to apply it again depending on how much u used the first application. This will work on anything else on the bike as well. This is what I use on my truck to clean the engine bay after some serious mudding. Always has worked for me. IF you want you can get industrial strength like they use for industrial diesel motors. That stuff works AWESOME!

My vote is for Simple Green. It works miracles on mudstains like that.

i had an 02 Warrior and the engine was black so this might not work for you... but i would always pressure wash it with water spray it with a cleaner and hose that off... Then spray anything and everything you want down with WD-40 makes (wait for it to try first) a black engine look like new.... worth a try

aluminium wheel cleaner works the best i have found. put it on let it sit for 5 minutes then wash it off. make sure you get all of it off.

i power wash my quad and dirtbike all the time. just when u go over the seals and lines dont get to direct wiht it, or else it might push dirt or water into your engine. if u havnt washed it in a while, spray off the dirt, then put an engine degreaser on it, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and go back and spray it off.
