pisston problems

the other day i bought a piston off my buddy and the rod that goes through the center is stuck in it and it wont come off and yes i done have the clips out and ive tried wd40 and it still wiont come out

I actually use a piece of wood and a hammer. If you're going to get a new wrist pin, just tap it out with a flathead screwdriver with the tip in the hole, and hit the other end with a hammer. It should come out. And b the way, a little WD-40 won't hurt.

You have to get a small enough piece of wood, you want it kind of long though so you don't hit the piston of course. Try to hit it as lightly as possible, if you want to keep it.

use a screw driver, handle end towards the piston and tap the screw driver with a hammer while someone holds the piston. should come out.
