will a 450r Quad Tech hood work on an 05 400ex?

^^ what that saids.... i know maier make a hood for the 06-05 400ex and i rather have the look of the Quad tech... i was looking at quad tech and saw they had on for the 400ex with the old plastics and the i looked at the 450r hood and the look like theyll work on the 400 ex but im not sure and i dont feel like wasting my money on a hood that wont work... so let me know if it would work .... thanks

and also the hood will work you will just need to drill higher holes.
