if the cam chain is loose will it cause a loss of compresion and inturn make it difficult to start. I have an HRC kit in my 04 from the dealer and was wondering if anyone is having this problem when you hit the throttle you can hear a whinning sound ever so slightly its really hard to hear but I can any info would help thanks

How would a loose cam chaing raise compression????
The thing that will happen if it is loose is it will skip teeth on the cam sprocket throwing off your timing and sending a valve through the top of the piston.

thats the thing I have no idea what i would do, what about the valves needing lashed so soon its only a yr old

yeah a loose cam chain is not a good thing at all
hopefully you get your problem takeing care of without any troubles

I don't think it would effect starting.. we have a decompression
