would i cause any damage if i took all of the discs out of my Fmf performaxx exhaust. thanks Jeremy

It won't damage anything but it will be loud and you will probably need to rejet or it will run lean without the disks.

How would i tell if its running lean and i know that means not enuf gas but how can i tell.

You will have to check the color of the insulator on the plug. It should be a light tan color if the jetting is right. If the insulator is white/powdery looking it is too lean.

so if i took them out and rode it for awhile then checked it would that do any damage to ride it for awhile if it does happen to be lean

It won't be lean enough to cause damage in that short of a period.

I would personally just add in some more disks. I used to run a Performax pipe on my 300. Worked great with 10 disks.

If you take them off, just start out with your main jet 1 size larger than you're running now. It should be ok.

thanks brandon i just went out and counted how many discs i had and i have 11 so i just put all of them back in thanks for all your help everyone. Jeremy
