I totally agree. For $395, GT Thunder will revalve, respring, and modify the shocks to give them more travel. You will also have rebound and compression dampning, which you would pay a lot for if you had the same features on a pair of Works or Elkas. If you are looking to spend less than that, you could have them resprung only, or revalved and resprung.
