no, but it might.
The 300ex plastic doesnt seem long enought (i have a 250r and a 300ex) and it seems like to wide of a gap (im bout 90% sure on this).
So my opinion would definatley be..no.
But putting 250r platic on a 300ex might work, but i'd be hard work.

If you want I can go out and measure both.

If your trying to do a c/f hood specifically for a 400ex, the answer is NO, it wont work.
