I have a lonestar that is very nice i have had it for about a year now on my 450r and has seen some abuse in that last year. i am not sure what they are worth now. i got mine off of E-bay so not sure how much they are brand new. I have seen about 7 or 8 dura blues break in the last couple years of racing i would stay away from them unless you get a good deal. Here is a pic of my axle.

Lonestar is the only way to go!

I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Lonestar.... They make a great axle, and the only problem that i had was a slight bend in it after a 4th gear pinned roll of 5 times.. but that was kinda expected... lol.... I contacted LSR, and sent it in and they fixed it for free and had it bad by the weekend...

when is was out this year i took some polishing stuff and just used a polishing wheel for about 4 hours and it came back to new it was truly amazing that is did. It looked like crap before i did it.

They just bend it back though, and its still very weak in that spot. At least they try to please the customer though.

My buddies just ordered some G-Force axles and Ill let you guys know how they hold up.

The LSR is only 3" wider right? I would prefer 4 or 5 anyone have a recommendation?

I have used dura blue x-33 for about 7 years now with the only problems being hubs... now they have billet hubs and no problems with those in 3 years. they are adjustable from -2 inches to +4 inches.

I dont race competetively so I am going to purchase the G Force myself. It can be bought from www.rockymountainatv.com It also has a lifetime warrenty

But if you want the best of the best then no doubt go with the LSR. The G Force is just a cheaper, more recreational type axel.

I know people with the g force axle and they are verry happy but they don't jump over 30'. If you do I sugest you spend the $$$ and go LSR, or RPM. my self I run RPM and love them.my 450r had a LSR when I bought it and I swapped it for a RPM right away.
I did swap because the RPM's crome was in better shape.

Is the RPM +3 max?

The RPM is +4 It is also bigger in diameter than the LSR. Now don't get me wrong the only reason I switched was the RPM that I had was in better shape finish wise they are both top notch axles. The RPM is a little bigger around but is also heavier.
And they are both the same width

i have a RPM axle and have had no problems out of it. it is good condition. I like the finish on it. all i do to keep it looking good is wipe it off after washing the bike. I like LSR axles too but have never ran them. i have had two RPM axles, one in my 400EX and another in my 450R. I have posted a pic of my axle, it is not a close up but the only one i have right now.

LSR's are +3 max for the trx450r I just called to confirm. Could someone confirm the RPM oversize. I am assuming it is +3 also.

I love my Lonestar on my R. I went through 2 durablue axles on my 400ex. My first one bent, i sent it to them, they fixed it, a week after I got it back it broke clean off and it was only on a medium sized jump. My lonestar has already been through some pretty good abuse and is working great. And lonestars are +3, it put my R right at 49 inches in the back.

RPM axle for the 450r is +4... i didn't call and confirm it, but on my RPM box my axle came in it has the axles length, which is adjustable from +1/+4

This is the only reason why I question the RPM being +4 because the LSR is +3???? Does anyone still have their stock axle to measure?
