400ex to 450?

i see alot of people putting 450 motors in 400ex's and was j.w where they get the motors from also wat all to u need and where can u get it?

usually crf 450 engine, or the yammies, the 426 or the 450 out of the dirt bikes. Not a very easy swap at all, a lot of frame mods will have to be done, unless you purchase a frame already made for one which is still expensive. You can do a search there have been quite a few really good hybrid builds on here.;)

Yeah it is some cutting and welding but not too bad.
