Aftermarket or stock shock rebuilds will lower the quad about 2 inches. I know it did mine and it handles alot better. Donuts/powerslides/180's are also twice as easy.

Yeah , shocks are one of the best upgrades you can get. You get the better handling with a lower center of gravity and ofcourse they make jumping alot better.

brake to gas hard and lean works for me...i use to have the same problem when i just had a +4 axle but now with my a-arms it wont get on two wheels for nothing. Shocks will definetly, thats my next thing on the list.:macho

Try adjusting your air pressure in your tires.

I don't know about the '06, but on my '04 I bought the GT Thunder rear link and shock rebuild and that made a big difference. It dropped my seat height 1.5" unloaded and probably more with me on it. Not to mention how much better it is in the whoops.

Suspension alone should solve most of that problem. When I put elkas on my 400 with stock arms it made it handle AWESOME.

just my op but set the ride hight of the rear a little lower than the front. I found that really helped me in the turns. But as stated shocks and a arms would be a world of differance.

I would start with 8-10 lbs rear and 12-14 up front. You can go as high as about 12 on the rear and 20 lbs up front. You have to play around with it. I run 8 rear and 12 up front normally on ITP tires.
