its has to be off a 2001 yamaha raptor. Yes its alot better and fully adjustable. Its also rebuildable

It has to be an 01 and you don't use the linkage. It rides awsome!

You don't use the linkage?? So you're just bolting it directly to the swingarm? Wouldn't that create a bunch of bucking?

No you just bolt it up just as if it was a direct replacement for a 300ex rear shock.

not when your not on it. It sits pretty high. On mine it drops like 2-3 inchs when I get on. (I weigh 135) As of now, I am looking to get elka springs for it to make it a little better. Very good replacment shock.

Yea its way better then a stock 300ex shock. I can hit whoops WFO in 5th and go over them pretty smooth. these aren't deep deep whoops or nothing. i got a few pics with my raptor shock installed.

It would be worth it if you're serious about riding to get a shock made for the bike. You could look used and I'd suggest elka. Also Burgard makes some cheaper swingarms that're sturdy. I'm not sure if they make them for the 300 though.

The raptor shock will bolt up to any 300ex shock as long as the shock mount is in the same place.
