no offense but i highly doubt that. that GSXR will run a very low 11 stock, it take a lot to get the Uncle-Bens-Mobile to do that. To each their own but rice just isnt for me. i like American muscle, the V-8 rumble, and motors that have some torque.

But....i do like the RX7 better than most imports just because of the wankle engine(rotory)!

I like imports, but I also like domestics. My car is like a half breed. JDM styling on a domestic car. It's a 96 Mustang with an Invader body kit and an aluminum spoiler (yes, the washboard style ones, but it's a double deck).

It also has JDM Black housing taillights, and BMW style projector headlights with the black housing also. I just bought a set of LED lights for the underneath that change colors and patterns and stuff.

Pretty soon, the body work will finally be finished and it will head to the paint shop for a gloss black paintjob. I also plan to buy some Enkei gloss black 18's once it's painted.

I'll drive anything! Import or domestic, I like either. Just for the guys that argue the import thing, remember anything you can do to an import you can do to a V8 domestic with crazy results (hp wise). With that said I've got a 89' Porsche 951, bone stock Road and Track numbers are 5.5 sec. 0 to 60 and a 13.2 1/4. Not bad for 17 year old technology. Also have a 89' full size Bronco to pull my quad and mowers around.

Yeah, I get a lot of bashing from the domestic crowd for that tranformation, especially because it isn't finished yet and I still drive it around.

What I'm trying to do with the car is to make it into a sort of best of both worlds sort of thing. The power of a domestic with the modern look of a JDM car. I even plan to swap the motor for a Thunderbird Supercoupe 3.8 Supercharged V6 later on.

i have been in the import scene for a while with my eclipse. i dont really have a problem with imports and street racer cars. im currently tring to get rid of mine, its just too much of a pain to drive the car, it sits so low i cant even straddle road kill. with the way my car is set up and how its painted, everytime i take it out i have at least 2 or 3 people try to race me. im a speed freak so i cant back down on a race. most of the import scene around here sucks, most of the cars are owned by morons who got there mommys old car a "pimped" it out, i just saw a kid at pepboys today with a silver ford taurus, he painted the grill and wheels lime green and tinted it up with yellow tint. i wonder whats wrong with those kind of people, heres a pic of my car its getting painted right now since i put a new bumper on it

This is just my opinion but why would you do that to a Mustang. I dont know if its a 6 or an 8 but either way mustangs look gay with body kits. I could see a suddle(sp.) kit but not the one you have on.

Oh yeah, I have a '78 and '70 1/2 TA back in the states. I will most likely buy a '70 GTO and build another '55 Ford F100 truck when I move back to the US. The powerplant for the '55 will most likely be a fuel injected twin turbo 351C or a fuel injected 428SCJ. I would love to have a 427SOHC but those thumpers go for $25k by themselves.

I used to be all about imports when i first got my civic. then i found out how expensive aftermarket parts are for em. i aint talking about the taiwan rice parts but the real performance parts. soo much money for a couple horsepower...maybe im just mad for my civic bein so slow off the spray..anyways i like the rx7 man , i had an old school 85 back in the day that i hooked up with a full exhaust, street port, and holley carb, wish i still had it now.....i never lost a race with that ol' boy...

Dont underestimate 4 cylinders. I have a 96 all wheel drive talon, i hardly ever have imports tryin to race me, its usually camaros and firebirds, anything v8. But damn i love their faces when that little 4 cylinder passes them. I havnt lost yet, and i dont have much into my car. Im not saying its fast, but sometimes the power to weight ratio in those boats arnt too great. Plus i get a great jump off the line. I dont care if it has 4 cylinders or 8, if its quick i like it. I do want to hit some jumps in a 69 general lee though.

i like small cars like the 5.0 mustangs. they aint nuthin but a body ridin on a motot. i just got one not too long ago that ive been fixin up. ive already raced a new maxima, honda somethin, and a cobalt with a charger on it. aint lost yet. its a stock 5.0 with 373 gears, hooker headers and thats it. it takes ALOT and i mean ALOT of money to make a honda as fast as a real car
