Quad is an '04 450R.......I was moving the quad around the garage and heard a weird clunk that I've never heard on my machine before. I grabbed on top of the right front tire and wiggled it towards and away from the frame to get it to make the clunk noise again.
I put my hand on everything to see if I could feel any wobbling.
Lug nuts are tight, wheel bearings seem to be good, shock mount is tight. Could it be a bad ball joint??
Any help or ideas?
Thanks!

its your a-arm bushings, they are worn out. mine did the same thing, i replaced them with jd +1's.
its kind of pointless to replace the bushings, when you can buy new a-arms for about the same price.
and its kind of pointless to pay $350 or what ever the price is for new a-arms that are not caster/camber adjustable.

Thanks for all the input. But guess what... I just tried it again, after riding it yesterday, and it doesn't make any noise now. WTF?
