View Full Version : Yfz450 Manual: Is It True?

I just received word from a yamaha yfz450 guy that the manual says to change your piston and rings every 20 hours. Is this true, or did he pull this from his ***? he says you can get away with 40+ but 100 is pushing your luck. COMMENTS???????

no thats not ture u dont have to change them that much. the only time you would need to is if you were running 9000 rpms constanntly for 20 hours.

does the manual say ANYTHING about the top end intervals???
