ATC Motor parts on a Trx 250r?

I have a good deal on a bunch of motor parts from an atc. Will they work on my 86 R? Parts like the clutch basket, counterbalancer, and would the transmission be worthless?

What year of ATC motor parts? If it is an 85-86 motor then yes, all of the parts are compatible with your 86 R. If it is an 81-84 aircooled motor then none of the parts are interchangeable. They even changed the sprocket side on those motors.
