O-Rings or not

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using a chain with o-rings or or one without

[underpowered]

advantages: last much, much longer, higher tensel strength, needs adjusting less often, easy to maintain.

disadvantages: higher rolling resistance than a standard chain.

[prepracing]

a non-oring chain has more tensile strength......which basically means it will stretch instead of breaking as quick. BUT I tried one and is stretched past all of the adjustment range on my 400ex in 3 rides ! By an O-ring or X-ring chain, yeah they cost more but are well worth the money. Alot of guys are running a crotch rocket O-ring chain, its just a little bigger than a stock quad chain. But its about bullet proof and will last a loooong time
