I went to install my PRM skid and it didn't even come close to fiting...

I have the houser s/a, houser l/t link and elka dual rate shock.

it hits the link? i thought houser said their s/a can be used with the stock skid plate? so i tried my stock skid plate and it wouldn't fit either. the rotor, link and sprocket hit the skid before it touches the mounts.

how did others get this to work? did you just put a color in to space the distance between the skid and the s/a?

thanks
Greg

I have the Houser swingarm and long travel linkage on my 450R. I reused the DG skid that I had on the stock swingarm and it bolted right up with no problem. No clearance issue's at all. Maybe Houser welded the wrong skid plate mounts to your swingarm? How far down do you have to space it? If it is not to much you could probably use some slightly longer bolts and some washers. You could also try to give Houser a call and ask them.
