DOnt get a WB or big gun. they are jsut an XR250r CDI. they add a higher rev limiter but cause hard starting ecspecially in cold weather. GT thunder and TC bot make boxes for the 400ex, not put their name on one that already exist. also RIcks electrics makes their own.

thats what i heard about those two also. i heard that they have less spark energy, which prolly would make it hard to start. im gonna have to look into gt and tc's and see what they've got goin on.

Has anyone used a Dyna system? In the world of Harley's Dyna is a well respected name in ignitions. I was wandering if this hold true in the quad world.

I have a votex cdi and love it. It is basically a uppper model to the dyna, i have heard that dyna's malfunction alot. The vortex has 10 different timing maps for dif applications and you can change then on the fly with a handle bar mounted switch which is included.

I have a pro com engineering rev box. I think that somehow it made my wheeler start easir. It definitely didn't start any harder.

Dyna and ricks. From what I hear they are about the same and the ricks is a lot cheaper.
