help with lower steering stem bearing

Iam having trouble getting the lower steering stem bearing in my frame i was wondering if there is like a trick or somthing to get it in

use a socket the same diameter as the outer race and gently tap in.

never tap on the inner race!

or you can put your bearing in the freezer for 20 minutes, heat the case or frame slightly then it should just drop in. if your worried about heating up frame then just freeze the bearing, you may have to tap slightly.

this works with any bearing that has to go in a blind hole. example:[engine case- 2 stroke]

bearing on a shaft: use a bearing heater, if you dont have 1 use old fry pan w motor oil 300 degrees [bearing will drop on shaft]

last resort: use a plumbers torch
