Used 400ex

I am in the market for a 05 - 06 400ex and I was wondering if there ia anything I should look for in a used quad?

Check the oil, look at the frame if paint is peeling off in some places it can mean its bent a little bit, test ride it and make sure it runs good and go thru all the gears, sprockets are in good shape, ask to see inside the air box so you can see if its extremely dirty or if the filter has been maintenanced, and probably that no parts are missing. Thats all i can think of.

definitly check frame..ask what engine work is done to it if any is done...don't buy a big bike like 440 with high compression piston it will have clutches out every 20 hours...mine goes out every 20 hours and im gettin tired of puttin new ones in. just check the basics.. frame, any any scratches or dents.
