airbox dimensions

Can any one give me dimensions of their airbox and possibly pics for 400ex? Length x width x height. How thick does the aluminum need to be. Thanks

once u bend the aluminum it will be real strong or strong enough. like some sheet metal would work to prob.

jus posted this a week ago.... check out all my post in my user account thingy there is also a thread on how to make a k and n cover for the aluminum airbox but here it is again....length-28.2, width- 19.4, height-14.5 ........ that is all in centimeters.... and this airbox is on insaneperformanceatv.com , mine came 2 mm thick but u should make yours 3 or 4 prolly 3 tho and get good aluminum off ebay and not cheap crap... it will be hard to bend into shape im guessing tho

if u got a 05-06 400ex u will have to change your brake capilar mount becuz on the newer models the capilar is placed higher and will dent your airbox
