What is some of the gearing setups that you guys are running and how do you like it. Im running a 14 ,39 and dont like it. Too much bottom end now that I have stroked and poked my motor.

me,14/38 with 20s,still need another gear.:( i guess you can get 15t cs but i wouldnt want to run my chain so close to my cases, plus its gonna work my suspension in relation to the swingarm pivot point, aka chain torque

I run a 14/36 with 20" tires on a 250x with exhaust and 11:1 piston. I love it.

stock gearing with 20" tires works amazing for my 300ex and XC racing.

the bigger the rear, the more BOTTOM end that youwill get. You have to drop teeth in the rear and add to the front.

With the 14/ 36 do you have any problems on the long hill climbs. If you run a 14 on the front can you still run the stock case gaurd.

You have to grind down the case saver a little bit to run 14 in the front. You shoulden't have any problems climbing long hills

I run 13/36 but I have the larger 22" tires and ride mainly in the tight woods.
