i was thinking i might want some flexx bars. my dad thinks the wouldnt be worth s***. i race desert and sometimes some grand-prix style events and am planning to progress more into motorcross. i already have a denton steering stabilizer which i love. please either persuade my position to my dad or his position to me. im open to anything.

My friend has bad wrists just like me, he got a set of flex bars and said he'll never go back, loves them to death. I want a set as soon as I get a job :)

For the type of racing you do, you'd love them. They help alot with lessening fatigue....in the longer GP races and desert racing I notice it the most. Even in MX, though - I like how they help reduce the really sharp blows that you feel sometimes when you hit a square edged hole or rut really hard......

I love mine......won't run without them.

I was so skeptical about how well they work, i bought a set at retail to try them so if I did not like them I could b!tch and moan about how much they sucked.

After spending some time with them, I must say they are one of the best things ever invented to help wrist shock and they do help aleviate arm pump, atleast on me they do and I have terrible carpel tunnel and arthritis.

They do not look as cool as a set of chrome cr double high, but they work as the company making them states .

I can agree with that. I have heard alot of people say they are not going to spend that much on a set of bars, thats fine but you don't know what you are missing we have had them since July of 04 well worth the money. I have ridden a couple of freinds atvs with out the bars and it amazes me how well the flexx bars work. My wife swears by them she has broken her left wrist twice and she is pretty confident that if she had the bars at the time it would have saved me some hospital bills :)

here is is straight from fasstco "No seperate parts are not available, however we have developed a damge warranty program. If you damage your Flexx Bars, you can return them to us and purchase a new set for $150.00."

I think Fasstco made a mistake when they dropped the selling of replacement parts. They are a great bar, they function like they are claimed to, but it was a HUGE selling feature that got crapped on.

$300 for a set of bars is high enough, knowing that if something does happen to them you are crap out of luck sans another $150 does not sit well with me.

I havent heard of anyone really tearing them up though, and with the built in flex they can survive where standard bars wouldnt .

Flex bars is the best aftermarket part that I have installed on my quad. They are well worth $300.
