I went to the MVD in Az and they said I could road register my quad IF I put on DOT approved ON Road Tires, a bubble horn and a mirror. Two out of three are easy. I have just never heard of ON Road DOT tires for Quads but there must be some out there.

I think that the king tires are DOT approved and they are cheaper than any flat track tire that i have seen.

Do a search for them on google and youll find them.

DICO makes some tires used on golfcarts and also trailer tires that are DOT approved that would work for rear tires, but I don't think they would work on the front

I bought a set of Kenda Speedracers for my ATK they are sweet looking! This is the ebay item #'s for the 1's I got ( 7965713509- fronts 21x7x10, 7965711579- rears 21x10x8 ) to fit my C series wheels. The only problem w/ the trailer tires from what I was told is that they wont fit atv wheels. Another thing is that the Speedracers are not DOT approved they are E-marked for European roads, which is the same as DOT approval, I couldn't find any tires for atv's in the states DOT approved because atv's aren't treated as another mode of transportation here in the states. I talk to Kenda & the Speedracers are not even available in the states. It took me about 3 months to get my tires. Hope this helps everybody!!!
