Help with houser long travel

I got my houser +3 long travel arms the other day and went to mount them up. I tightend the ball/heim joints and they didn't seem to pull down into the spindle very far. I was curious if this is how they were suppose to be or not? Any info or pics of a mounted set-up would be great. Thanx.

i dont have houser, but mine are the same way. this pic might show them if not i can get one tomarrow

thats normal for houser a-arms. The bolt going thru the spindle will stick up about 3/4"
