when u drain your oil, i know u drain out of the oil pan, and also on the motor my queston is, when i did mine u took out a bolt on the foot brake side of the motor and i read somewhere else someone did it on the gear shifter side of the motor does it matter which one or are you supposed to pull them both out? thanks alot, hunter

the bolt to drain the engine oil is on the left side of the engine right below the shifter.

This is correct. The bolt you took out on the right side (rear brake side) is the oil level check bolt, it is not a drain hole.
