Not sure exactly what the top speeds are but the raptor 350/warrior is just a bit faster than the 300ex on the top end mainly because of the extra gear. In a drag race the rappy 350/warrior is faster but in the woods they are very close to being equal.

I rode with one at a MX track. We were both set up for XC. I ended up being faster. IDK if it was because he didnt know how to ride, or if he was scared to jump, but all I know is that I beat him.....lol.

i would say that the 300ex would be quicker on the track but in a long shot the 350 raptor/warrior would take the win. i would rather have the 350 raptor/warrior becuase of the hill climbing.

i believe around 64-66 on average for the raptor 350 maybe more maybe less, not for sure though. the 300ex around 60.

350 Raptor tekes the win in top speed between the two! But.. the blaster beats the 350 raptor!:D

nope, blasters and 300ex's are sh*t when it comes to a drag race. the 350 will hand both of them there asses anyday. but of course it depends on the rider to. but between equal riders, the raptor 350 will beat both of them anyday.

Well said! they are both great machines. The 300 has a little bit of advantage in the woods because of the handleing and the 350 has a better advantage in a drag. But it depends on the riders as redlineranger said.

First couple gears they are very even. The 350's extra displacement is evened out by the 300's extra valves. A piped blaster will take them both until the blaster tops out the 350 will pass it. I see it happen all the time. Why does everybody bash the blaster? Are they tired of losing to them? The blaster is a great quad and fills a nice niche for many riders.

I have to confirm that the 300ex will do 60 and no more. I had a friend of mine clock my 96 stock 300ex the day I bought it in 1996. He was in his car and we ran side by side to see what the top speed was. I hit 60 on the nose then right into the rev limiter. And yes I use to live in BFE where the roads where long and nothing but tractors and horse's cluttered the roads so had plenty of road to stretch it out.

exactly what i was gonna say... as soon as i got to 60 i got to the rev limit also. so thats about all your getting out of 300ex for anyone who believe's there faster in stock form.

ahhhhh 1000th post b*tches!!!!!!!:D (im not gonna throw a porn picture party though, sorry guys dont want to be banned)

my friends raced each other... one with a stock 300ex and the other with a blaster with toomey exhaust.. the blaster is geared down one tooth in the front and they are identical speeds racing down the beach in oregon... 59 exactly.

Its all about riders skill. Race him and see who loses. That will tell you whos quicker.

My GPS registered 63 on pavement at the rev limiter with stock gearing, 22" tires, stock engine/CDI and aftermarket pipe/filter/jetting and no airbox lid. I would think one with engine mods could hit at least 65mph.

In a pure flat ground straight line drag race, a 350 warrior will win. Gears 1-3 on the 300ex, and 1-4 on the warrior are pretty even. But when the 300ex is in 4th and the warrior is in 5th the warrior starts pulling away very slowly. However once the 300ex hits it's rediciously low rev limiter, the 350 warrior will just keep on going.. lol.

This is a comparison between stock quads with full system pipes, filter, and no airbox lid. Stock gearing, and stock tires. Same size riders.

Now you start modding the quads, and well there no way to say wich one's faster.

A stock 300ex tops out at almost exactly 55mph (at stock tire PSI). Adding more pressure to the tires even just up to 5psi will add top speed as the diameter of th tires increase on the baloon tires. My 330ex w/ invreased rev limit, 22" xc tires and 13:36 gearing hits the rev limiter at about 77mph. If I were to put a 14 tooth up front it would hit about 83mph, but would suck in the woods.. lol.

Would you happen to have a picture of your 330ex? I sounds real nice. I always been wondering what it looked like also.

from my experiences, when you start modding blasters, they will destroy both the 350rappy/warrior and 300ex. heres my bro's 350 raptor: HMF slip on, FMF powerbomb, lid removed, K@N, works shocks, BKT Xdriv tires, skids, DG nerfs, and more to come!

I raced wolffie with a stock blaster compared to this 350 raptor, and we were dead even until the Blaster reved out which allowed it to pull away! Altough I am quite a bit lighter than wolffie!

CRAZY!:blah:

yeah i would have to say that the 350 raptor stock is probably even with a blaster (it really depends on the rider though)

i never thought of that either ethan, i was giving up alot of weight to you:D

My 1996 300ex will do about 67 with the gearing i have on it. I have a 14 tooth on the front and a 38 on the back with 20 tires. The front sprocket made a hell of a diffrence. It also has a k&n air filter, jetting, and slightly modified stock pipe. Yes it does have the stock rev limiter.

I don't have any current pictures of it.

Nothing special. No bling factor at all.. lol.

Just a stock painted frame, stock a-arms & swinger, red fullbore plastics, works shocks (w/ black) shock covers, DG nerfs w/ red nets, Renthal bars w/ red lettering on white background, # plates w/ 73 on it (my old racing #), 22" Maxxis Razr2 fronts on douglass red label, 22" SureTrak rear on 9x9 ITP Baha, DG Sunrise front bumper old style w/o mud screen, Ceet gripper seat cover, Sparks pipe, and a few product stickers for the brands that have proven themself to me that I want to give a little free advertisment.

Poor quad has been to hell and back about 10 times.. lol.

my 250x was just rebuilt and it feels like around 55mph (stock gearing)
