I just pulled my plug and it was real wet with gas had a kind of goo around the middle, hafe the plug was shadded black other side dark shadded white. This is the first time i took my plug out sence last jet changes, and it hasnt been started in about 8 weeks or more?

Bad gas. It sits too long and turns into a "varnish." Drain your gas. Put new gas in and you should be OK.

Thanks i did change the gas im chargin the battery right now then goin to try to get it runnin, im goin to get a new plug 2morrow anyways, and i had gas saver in it about 4 weeks ago, no biggy tho i just want to get it runnin. lata

Yeah probably bad gas...or bad additive. We run 92 octane in everything gas we own(other than my truck)....this keeps over the winter just fine...and will start up right away. The other gas seems to go bad in a very short time(1-2 months).

how do i check to see if im gettin spark ?

remove plug boot, remove plug, re-insert plug in socket (boot), secure to side of motor (against METAL surface, firmly with stick or somethin) with all switches on, do not touch the plug as you will get an unpleasent shock, and turn it over. You should see a healthy blue spark that is consistant.

If no spark is detected... Check to make sure kill switch is disabled, check the condition of the plug. Is it wet? Dry? Wet: its getting flooded (too much fuel), is it dry (not getting any fuel)

ok, its got good spark so what now, should i just pull start the thing (how, never had to before?) to get it started first then go from there, I am goin to take int somewhere to get the valves adj. but I cant anytime soon with things going on right now, but i want to ride ???

well do a plug check, you gotta see if's receiving FUEL.
