Ive run up to -4 on a Banshee, but on my old 250R and my new 450R, Im running a -2 no link setup and its working great.

depends on the style track you're running too. on a nice national level track, hard packed, where rubber is really going to be laid down, I would only run like a -1, -1.5, but on local tracks, loose dirt stuff, I'd run something shorter...just something to think about

i was thinking it was cr80-85 shock

this is for the nationals

i guess i have allways run a stock length and never had problems with it at the local tracks , but shorter means more weight to the back plus a little more traction am i right

More traction and quicker turning.

Even on smooth National tracks, I would think -1.5 to -2 with the CR85 shock.

I use to run a minus 4 for flattrack but minus 2 or 3 should be suffient (sp) depending on what tires you are running!
