i have a question about the best kind of reeds to run in a r??? can someone give me their take on the best reeds???? or how the reeds compare to each company?? any imput would be nice!!

I like the rad valve. Very good set up in my opinion. If you get it, get the one for the cr250. I think it is part# 02b.

Ive been running Duncan Racing's Pyramid Reed cage. Ive Had No problems and id say it works better than the V force setup. Ive never ran an rad valve so i cant speak for that.

I own both the Rad valve and V-force reedcage. I have heard that the difference between the two is V-force has a little bit softer reeds which helps with low end while the rad valve has stiffer reeds which open more for top end. I like them both a lot and really didn't see too much difference between running them. My buddy on his R runs a 98 CR reed cage set up which works great too. You really can't go wrong with any of these set ups, they're all far better than the stock setup.

will the cr cage bolt right up??? what year cr do you order?? any mods need to be down to run it?? thanks for all the imput
