400ex black Seat?

I have seen some people have black seats on their 400ex's rather than a red. Now mine is red and I want a black one. So can I order a hole new seat, or can i get a factory seat cover from honda? Or should I just order a good seat cover for the money? Thanks.

i also didnt like the red seat when i had my 05 400ex, i ordered a seat from a 05 [yellow plastic] that came with black seat.

looks alot better black than red, honda also agreed i guess, the 06 400ex has a black seat.

i think the complete seat was like $65, check the $ @ servicehonda. yeah u have to buy it complete.

Check on ebay. I always see people selling stock seat covers for cheap. Always worth a shot.

Now when you said the complete seat that means seat foam and everything?

yes, a complete seat= plastic base, foam, cover [ ready to go, all you need to do is move your latch from old to new 1].

i would give you the part # if i still had it, there is about 12 diff styles of seats from 99-06

just call and get the part # for an "06", its easier to figure out since both seats are black this year

Yeah, Honda doesn't sell just seat covers. You either have to buy the whole seat, or get a second-hand seat cover somewhere else (like ebay).
