My 400ex is almoast done, and I need help with finishing touches.

I have powdercoated just about every piece, and it just doesent have that "look" I am going for..

all theres left is a black seat cover, steering stem, steering stabilizer, nerfs ( have but not on). and mabie wave rotors? graphics kit??

what looks good?

Is that a cut stock exhaust, id probably change that first if it was me.

Jimmy It is a powder coated shortened LRD I believe.

thats correct, It had a massive dent in it from the previous owner, bought the full system for 200$.

The head isn't even on the motor. It's an infinished project;)


As far as finishing touches that's personal choice, doesn't matter what everyone else thinks;)

I would throw some color on the engine sidecases to really set it apart. Or get a Hinson quick change clutch cover! :eek2:

the hinson clutch cover is cool. how exactly does it work?


also, the sidecase covers are powder coated silver.

the hinson case comes w/ the whole sidecase machined for the cover - that way ya' just unbolt the cover to change yer' clutch without having to remove the whole sidecase - - -they look sweet - but for the $$ I'll keep on removing my sidecase for now - bike's lookin' good man -
