450R Axle on 400EX

I have a 450r axle of my bike and was wondering if it would fit on my friends 400ex.? thanks

i don't think so.i think where the bearings ride is wider on a r then a ex.measure the rear swing arm.

It is possible, I saw an EX with a 450r axle on it. Not sure of the modifications needed, let me see if I can find a link.

Its probably possible with the 450R bearing carrier aswell, but in my opinion not very likely with out it (the 450 carrier). But I've never done it, but good luck.
