what is the number for a spark plug for a 400ex dont have the frame with me now and ordering all engine parts now

Standard Plug:

NGK: DPR8Z
Denso: X24GPR-U
Denso Iridium: IXG24


Colder Plug: "for extended high speed riding" (so says the Service Manual)

NGK: DPR9Z
Denso: X27GPR-U
Denso Iridium: IXG27

That should get you started I'm sure you could cross reference other makers with those numbers but I don't know of too many other plugs worth using.

whats the differance
